Seasonal Notes

Seasonality plays a big role in the feel of weddings at Eagles Nest Retreat. Autumn is particularly popular, with deciduous trees turning and shedding their leaves, creating warm tones and a landscape that photographs beautifully. In winter, Mount Roland can receive snow, and on rare occasions light snow can fall at the venue itself, adding a distinctly Tasmanian alpine atmosphere to the backdrop.
Rainfall is more common through the cooler months, but it is usually intermittent rather than persistent, and conditions often change quickly. Spring and summer bring greener farmland, longer days and clearer mountain views, with the setting feeling open, relaxed and expansive across the property.
